They're pretty much like Jumbo plans, only smaller. ;^)
I think SJ's are the size that most builders use to make their "own". I call mine my SIG. It's really sort of a large OM instead of a small Jumbo but it's in there sizewise.

Hi guys, yes, the forum plans are the ones I'm after...just having withdrawals...I have some prime Bob C. maple here just begging to be a guitar (this one's for ME!!!!)...and the SJ will "quell the thirst" as a popular TV preacher used to say...anyhoo, maybe I should order Bruce's too, so I can plead his return to the forum...I'd pay $18 to have him back! Lance, can we pre-order the plans, or is it better to just wait at this point till the link is up? Thanks, Larry.

Paul are you saying that your SJ is the same proportions as your OM i.e. ratio of upper bout radii to lower bout radii. The reason I ask is that most I have ever dealt with have a larger variance in ratio between the two bouts. Mine the lower bout is also closer to being a continuous radius ( actually isn’t but nearly that appearance) Just curious.
anyone order the SJ plans on this site? what is the difference between these plans and the others?
Frank, each luthier may vary a little in the overall dimensions, by 1/4" or so. But the basic shape and general over all dimensions are fairly universial.

The OLF plans are my personal plans contributed to the OLF Library to help promote the forum. On them I do not detail the neck construction or neck block because most of us have our own neck and blocks established. I do however locate the necks 14th fret and relative bridge position and detail all other major components. Also I have two brace systems Traditional Martin style system and my own x-braced back system. Both are included. There are 3 pages to the plans and they are all full scale so that you can trace for forms and molds. I think you will find them as good as any out there. They are Autocad drawn and plotted and are very good line quality.

Ok the ratio difference is about the same as mine. I was just currious.
